As the G7 Summit wraps up in Kananaskis, Canada has unveiled $2 billion in military support for Ukraine. However, no joint statement is being made by the G7 leaders in regards to the Russo-Ukrainian conflict. CTV’s Colton Praill delivers the latest developments from Alberta as the show kicks off. Here at home, after 6 long years, construction is set to begin on the reborn Vittoria Trattoria. Their William Street location had to be rebuilt following a massive fire in 2019, causing $2 million in damages. A Conservative MP is calling on Identity and Culture Minister Steven Guilbeault to apologize to U.S.-based Christian musician Sean Feucht after the permits for recent concerts in venues overseen by Parks Canada were revoked.Marilyn Gladu, the opposition critic for civil liberties, says in a letter dated Friday that denying the permits did not “preserve the principle of inclusion” but had the opposite effect in excluding Feucht and many Canadians who had planned to attend the events.
