A tsunami watch has been issued for much of British Columbia’s coast after a magnitude 8.7 earthquake struck in the Pacific Ocean off southeastern Russia.
B.C.’s emergency preparedness agency says the U.S. National Tsunami Warning Center has issued a bulletin that spans parts of B.C., including Greater Victoria.
The Niagara SPCA and Humane Society has had an overwhelming couple of days with a total of 76 cats surrendered or found abandoned.
