Normally, to start off Hour 3, we pick your brains and tackle today’s Question of the Day. However, with Canada’s birthday just hours away, we decided to shake things up with a little bit of Canada Day trivia! Kristy Cameron tests the listeners’ knowledge, and even poses a few questions to a crowd of Bell Media personalities. Plus, as our Proudly Canadian segment wraps up, we saved the most inspiring story for last. Tareq Hadhad, the CEO of Peace by Chocolate, moved to Canada along with his family in 2016. Almost 10 years ago, they were refugees from Syria. Today, they call Nova Scotia home.
The city says the ongoing construction of Hawrelak Park is on time and budget, with many of the ‘finishing touches’ being added this summer.
