The feds are dialling back on work-issued cellphones to public servants, as it shifts to computer-based softphones and other budget-saving measures. Shared Services Canada manages approximately 180,000 hand-held devices – ranging from iOS to Android – across 45 partners and 10 client departments. That’s according to the 2024-2025 Departmental Plan. Do you think your company should pay for your phone?
