Statscan to release July jobs data, giving insight into third quarter

Statistics Canada is set to publish new jobs data for July this morning.
A Reuters poll of economists expect the economy added 13,500 jobs last month but that the unemployment rate ticked back up to seven per cent.

New data released by the province shows that, even with 20,000 non-traditional housing starts added, 2024 was another year Ontario missed its home construction targets.
