Sweltering heat is expected to continue in British Columbia, Ontario, Quebec and the Atlantic provinces today, but relief is on the way for some.
A multi-day heat wave should end today in southern British Columbia, where warnings covered most of Vancouver Island and stretched into North Thompson and South Okanagan.
The restrictions, which went into effect in May 2024, meant the Aqua Development would not be permitted to operate on a short-term rental basis as originally intended.

OTTAWA — Work is underway for an upcoming review on whether the tariffs Canada applied to China’s electric vehicles, steel and aluminum should remain at the current rates, the federal finance minister’s office has confirmed.
