Homicide unit investigating after shooting in Brampton, Ont., leaves one dead, one injured

Peel police say one person is dead and another is injured following a shooting last night in Brampton, Ont.
Police responded to reports of gunshots at around 8:40 p.m. on Bayhampton Drive and located two victims with gunshot wounds.
Shayne MacDonald, a 28-year-old Toronto man who murdered his aunt nearly seven years ago, has been sentenced to life in prison with no chance of parole for 14 years.
