The councillor for Rideau-Vanier has been reprimanded by City Council over a series of social media comments. However, Stephanie Plante will not be docked 3 days worth of salary. Ottawa's Integrity Commissioner determined that Plante had engaged in 'harassment, intimidation, and online bullying' in relation to debates over sprung structures. That violates the municipality’s Code of Conduct. As previously heard in Hour 1, the Downtown councillor argued that Wednesday’s decision by the City Commissioner sets a bad precedent.
