As a way to celebrate Canada’s 150th birthday, and part of a broader effort to build ‘Canada’s largest playground’, $2 million worth of funding was injected into Mooney’s Bay. Since that cash injection from 2017, 8 years have passed, and signs of disrepair are already popping up. What happened to the shininess of Canada’s supposed crown jewel, and what could happen next?
