Sarah McLachlan is set to appear on Jimmy Kimmel’s first show back since the late-night comic was suspended last week.
The Halifax-born singer-songwriter is booked as a musical guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live! for Tuesday, publicists for both the musician and her Hulu-distributed Lilith Fair documentary have confirmed.
Prince Edward Island Premier Rob Lantz is urging the RCMP and Canada’s anti-money-laundering agency to probe long-standing allegations concerning a Buddhist organization that has significant land holdings in the eastern part of the province. OTTAWA — The Department of National Defence and Canadian Forces are suing an intelligence watchdog to prevent it from releasing without further redactions a review that found that some of their human intelligence source handling activities may break the law.
In a lawsuit filed in late August, both federal bodies requested a Federal Court judge quash the National Security and Intelligence Review Agency’s (NSIRA) decision to release a redacted version of a 2023 review under access to information laws.
