India agreed to co-operate with Canada on police investigations, national security adviser says

India has committed to co-operate and share information with Canadian police investigations, Prime Minister Mark Carney‘s national security and intelligence adviser said Thursday.
Nathalie Drouin, who met with counterparts in New Delhi last week, said as a result of what she called “very productive meetings,” Canada and India have re-established some channels of communication to talk about their respective concerns.
Bringing an end to diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives within Canada’s government, as proposed by Pierre Poilievre, would allow people to be chosen for roles based on merit and character, says the founder of a Canadian think tank.
“It goes to the basic question of what kind of society you want and what governments should be doing. Governments should not have bureaucracies whose job it is to discriminate based on skin colour, ethnicity, gender,” Mark Milke told National Post.
