Ontario Premier Doug Ford is musing about repurposing the speed cameras he intends to soon ban and using them to track down stolen cars.
Ford has announced his government will introduce legislation next month to prohibit the use of speed cameras across the province.
Canada is projected to record a GDP growth rate of 1.3 per cent in 2025 and tick higher, to 1.7 per cent, in 2026, Deloitte’s fall 2025 economic outlook said.

OTTAWA — Liberals say they’re not sure what to make of a letter from Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre calling on them to “argue to overturn” a recent British Columbia Indigenous land-claims ruling they’ve already filed an appeal against.
