The City of Ottawa is formulating a brand-new strategy to recruit and retain new doctors in Canada’s Capital. It came out with a 10-point report to address Ottawa’s dwindling number of primary doctors. According to the municipality, we are short roughly 300 family doctors, as a whopping 165,362 residents were living without a healthcare provider in 2022.
