Impaired driver arrested after two people struck by vehicle in Toronto

Toronto police have arrested an impaired driver after two people were hit by a vehicle on the city’s waterfront Sunday morning.
Police said on social media that one of the victims was taken to the hospital after being struck near Lower Spadina Avenue and Queens Quay West around 9:30 a.m.
One victim was a cyclist while the other was riding an e-scooter, police told The Globe and Mail in a statement. Both suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
