  Paddlers at Lac La Peche have been noticing a translucent hazy white quality to the water lately. And as we’ve found out from the NCC, there’s a reason for that. It’s freshwater jellyfish, a rare sight in the National Capital Region. So what exactly is causing the sudden uptick? Larissa Holman is the Director of Science and Policy with the Ottawa Riverkeeper.
