Radiologists warn of rising wait times for MRIs, CTs and other diagnostic scans

Radiologists in Canada are sounding the alarm about rising wait times for diagnostic imaging procedures such as MRI and CT scans, saying the holdups hurt patients and the economy.
“When access is delayed, treatment is delayed,” said Alison Harris, president of the Canadian Association of Radiologists, which represents about 3,000 specialists across the country.
Two men were found with gunshot wounds around the 7/11 and Vern’s Pizza on Warman Road. They were taken to hospital with serious injuries. Police are continuing to investigate after the suspect(s) fled when officers arrived at the scene. Watch the video above for more on the case and how residents in Saskatoon feel.
