Ottawa Now - New data says Ottawa's students are falling behind on their immunization records

November 3, 2025

More than half of today’s students who attend schools in Ottawa and Toronto don’t have up-to-date immunization records. And according to public health records, both cities are falling behind. That’s over 66 percent of children in those age groups. Dr. Paul Roumeliotis is the Medical Officer of Health for the Eastern Ontario Health Unit. He sifts through the latest batch of data on today’s Ottawa Now.
