As of New Year’s Day, changes to the Ontario Fire Code will require increased carbon monoxide alarm detection in residential occupancies and care occupancies. Orleans resident Tracy Knowles, who lives with her two young children, knows the importance of these detectors all too well. Last December, a faulty furnace was leaking carbon monoxide into their house, causing quite the scare but thankfully no injuries. She joins Kristy Cameron in Hour 4.
