Hour 2 of Ottawa Now for Thurs. November 13th, 2025

November 13, 2025

Ontario's Ministry of Education is ordering school boards across the province to open student and family support offices. These hubs are meant to address issues raised by parents with their children's educators. Kristy Cameron goes 1-on-1 with Education Minister Paul Calandra in Hour 2. Meantime, Ottawa Police is warning residents that a high-risk offender is currently living in the Rideau-Vanier area. Christopher Watts was previously convicted of manslaughter, sexual assault, and sexual interference in the death of a Southern Ontario teenager. He has been labeled as a high-risk offender since 2015. We get the latest details from CTV's Katie Griffin. Then, we check in with Sylvie Bigras, who is the President of the Lowertown Community Association. Plus, CFRA’s Andrew Pinsent drops by for a quick chat, as Prime Minister Carney launches another round of major projects.
