Ottawa mathematician wins his second Scrabble world championship in 20 years

Adam Logan is a quiet fellow. The mathematician from Ottawa has no working phone and no presence on social media. He is a man of many words, however.
On Sunday in Ghana, Mr. Logan won the World Scrabble Championship for the second time. In doing so, he beat Nigel Richards of New Zealand, the five-time world champ and a man opponents regard as the greatest Scrabble player of all time.

The 21 cats will be assessed by veterinarians before being put up for adoption.
