November 21, 2025

A retired Regina police sergeant is expected to plead guilty Friday to criminal charges related to using police resources to pursue intimate relationships with dozens of vulnerable women.

Court heard Mr. Semenchuck was prepared to offer a plea by phone, but Crown prosecutor Christopher Browne requested that the judge direct the accused appear in person.
