A growing number of minors are being recruited by adults to carry out smash-and-grab jewelry store robberies in Ontario and are told that if they are caught, as youths, they would face little or no time in custody, an investigation by CBC's the fifth estate has found.

Younger Canadians are generally less trusting than older people, according to a recent survey conducted by Leger for the Association for Canadian Studies.
