Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged a motorist with careless driving causing bodily harm after he allegedly failed to stop for a boy who was crossing a highway after getting off his school bus near Deep River.

The federal government announced a suite or new policies Wednesday to support the embattled steel and lumber industries, the latest measures to shift the Canadian economy away from reliance on the American market.
