If Ottawa buys a new landfill, what happens to the debate over incineration?

Ottawa city councillors have been reassured that the idea of building a waste-to-energy incinerator is still on the table, and they will still have a fulsome discussion about how best to deal with residents’ garbage and recycling in early 2027.
