Traffic impacts for Overnight Highway 174 closure between Champlain Street and Tenth Line Road
Highway 174 will be closed overnight in both directions between Champlain Street and Tenth Line Road from 11 pm on Sunday, December 7, until Monday, December 8, at 3 am. The closure is required to facilitate Hydro One repairs in the area.
Traffic detourApproaching Tenth Line Road on the westbound Highway 174
- Motorists will take the off-ramp at Tenth Line Road and turn left towards St Joseph Boulevard.
- Turn right onto St Joseph Boulevard, proceed west until reaching Place d’Orleans Drive
- Turn right onto Place d’Orleans Drive and proceed to Champlain Street to re-enter highway 174.
Approaching Champlain Street on the eastbound Highway174
- Motorists will take the off-ramp at Place d’Orleans Drive and turn right towards St Joseph Boulevard.
- Turn left onto St Joseph Boulevard, proceed east until reaching Tenth Line Road to re-enter highway 174.
The safety of both the public and construction workers is our highest priority. Motorists are encouraged to follow all detour routes, observe traffic control signage, and adhere to posted speed limits. We appreciate your patience during the construction period.
Pedestrians and cyclists should use designated pathways and follow posted signage to safely navigate around the construction areas. Please allow extra travel time and use increased caution when driving through construction zones.
