More jail time for former Ottawa music teacher convicted of sexual assault

Former Bell High School teacher Robert “Bob” Clarke was handed a two-year jail sentence in Ottawa court on Monday, after pleading guilty earlier this year to a sexual assault charge. Clarke has now been convicted of abusing 11 teen boys during his years teaching in the 1970s, 80s and 90s in what is now the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board.

The new bill prohibits wearing or displaying any patches or symbols promoting a list of criminal entities established by the Public Security Department.
