Officer who shot Deer Lake First Nation man 5 times cleared of wrongdoing, Ontario police watchdog says

Ontario’s police watchdog has cleared a Nishnawbe Aski Police Service (NAPS) officer of wrongdoing in connection with the death of a Deer Lake First Nation man who was shot five times. The decision comes a year after the 40-year-old's father was also shot and killed by police.
