Ottawa Now - Councillor Dudas says 'we have to start looking' as Trail Road landfill nears its expiration date

November 21, 2025

City Hall is engaged in talks to purchase a private landfill in Ottawa’s East End, a direct attempt to help address the municipality’s garbage disposal needs. It passed 8 to 3, with Orleans West-Innes councillor Laura Dudas among the crowd of voters who approved the idea. She outlines her reasoning on today’s Ottawa Now.
