The new Finch West LRT was closed multiple times on Friday amidst a winter storm. Technical issues, signal problems and debris on the track all stopped trains from running.

Toronto police are investigating after multiple mezuzahs were stolen outside Jewish homes for the second time this month.Officers were called just before 12:30 p.m. on Christmas Day to a condo building in the Finch Avenue East and Bayview Avenue area, where police said four mezuzahs had been taken from four units.
