On the day Prashant Sreekumar died, he slid out of bed early to surprise his wife, Niharika, with a mug of chai. He used ChatGPT to make sure he did it right.

Mr. Sreekumar, an accountant, left for work later that morning, three days before Christmas. But a few hours later he called his wife of 19 years to say his chest hurt and he was losing vision in his left eye. A client drove him to Grey Nuns Community Hospital in southeast Edmonton.
