Hour 2 of Ottawa Now for Mon. December 29th, 2025

December 29, 2025

Guest host Chris Holski is filling in for Kristy Cameron this afternoon, as Mother Nature unwraps a nasty post-Christmas surprise. And if you live in Ottawa’s rural areas, you might be biting your fingernails right now. In Hour 2, we check in with Tiziana Baccega-Rosa, a Senior Media Relations Advisor with Hydro One. Plus, as we get a weather checkup with The Weather Network’s Doug Gillham, the Columbus Blue Jackets’ charter plane finally makes landfall in Canada’s Capital. CTV’s Patricia Boal says tonight’s Senators game will go ahead, but the opening faceoff will be delayed by at least 30 minutes.
