As we talked about earlier in today’s program, the feds will be speaking with public service unions over the coming weeks. And the primary talking point, to nobody’s surprise, surrounds more time at workstations for Canada’s public servants. However, the unions are furious that this information was publicly revealed during a Mayor’s Breakfast. Should the government force public servants back to the office on a full-time basis? Should the mandate be tailored to each individual job, as opposed to a blanket mandate? Kristy Cameron sifts through the CFRA textboard and tackles today’s Question of the Day. OTTAWA — Prime Minister Mark Carney’s national security advisor said Russia’s information war against Canada is increasingly successful as more and more Canadians believe Ukraine began the war caused by Russia’s invasion in 2022.
Nathalie Drouin, Carney’s outgoing national security and intelligence advisor (NSIA), told MPs Tuesday she was concerned by Russia’s growing success in influencing Canadians with misinformation and disinformation campaigns since 2021.
