Hour 2 of Ottawa Now for Thurs. December 18th, 2025

This year, 32 students have graduated from the Ottawa Mission's Food Services Training Program. Kristy is joined by Joseph, one of this year's graduates, in Hour 2. Later in the program, Ottawa's Medical Officer of Health drops by for his bi-weekly segment on Ottawa Now. It's called 'Your Health' and it stars Dr. Trevor Arnason. Spoiler alert: Influenza is today's Word of the Day. Plus, if you think you can ride in the HOV lane with your pet in the passenger seat, that won't get you out of a very expensive ticket.
