According to a new study from the Ontario Medical Association, female family physicians spend 15 to 20 percent more time with their patients compared to their male colleagues. We dig deeper with Lyn Sibley, a Senior Director of Healthcare Evaluative Research at the Ontario Medical Association. She is also one of the study’s authors. Meantime, an Ottawa city councillor is calling on the Ford government to keep Regina Street Alternative School open. Ottawa’s largest school board says the final cohort of students enrolled in September of last year. That means no new students will be enrolled in the program beyond that, including Kindergarten students. Bay Ward councillor Theresa Kavanagh joins the show in Hour 2.
