The defence for an Ottawa city councillor accused of impaired driving is asking the judge to toss out his blood-alcohol level readings from that night, and everything the councillor said to the breath technician, due to seven alleged breaches of his Charter rights.
A Manitoba teacher was disciplined after admitting to professional misconduct involving a nine-year-old student with higher needs, amongst other previous offences.
