‘A year is a long time to wait’: Ontario speeds up cancer drug access

Ontario has launched a new program that is fast-tracking six life-saving cancer drugs, giving patients access up to a year sooner and reducing long waits for critical treatment.

Ontario Provincial Police say they put out a shelter-in-place alert for part of the Central Frontenac community early Tuesday morning. The suspect was later arrested and the alert lifted.
