Just spitballing here, but say you own a company — for the sake of argument, let's call it Crown Royal — that is losing money. Is it the mandate of its board of directors to protect the shareholders by trying to stem the flow of red ink? Premier Doug Ford doesn't think so. He certainly doesn't agree with their solution.
