Truck, ambulance crash in Madoc, Ont., injures 1 and closes highway

Ontario Provincial Police say a transport truck and ambulance collided at a major intersection along Highway 7 Monday afternoon, seriously injuring one person and closing the highway overnight.
Police say a Brampton kidnapping investigation involving a $200,000 ransom demand led to multiple charges, a seized firearm and new evidence uncovered through search warrants.
