Kingston council defers $350K for The Tragically Hip anniversary events

Kingston city council has deferred a $350,000 funding request for events commemorating the 10th anniversary of The Tragically Hip's final show, citing affordability concerns.
Mayor Brenda Willman was supportive of providing the money, saying she's happy to see the community will continue to have the protection residents deserve.
