Temporary lane reductions coming to St. Joseph Boulevard for proactive watermain work

St. Joseph Boulevard will experience temporary lane reductions starting on Tuesday, February 17 until this spring due to planned watermain work.

St. Joseph Boulevard, from west of Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard to Orléans Boulevard, will be reduced to one lane in each direction on Tuesday, February 17 until this spring for watermain work. The St. Joseph Watermain Repair Project is proactively replacing sections of watermain identified as needing work. The road will be reinstated once the construction is complete. The City’s water distribution service will be maintained to area residents and businesses as usual.

Traffic impacts
  •  Temporary lane reductions on St. Joseph Boulevard, from Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard to Orléans Boulevard; one lane in each direction will be maintained.
  • Some turning movements may be impacted as work progresses through intersections.

Local access will be maintained for residents, businesses and emergency vehicles. Access to businesses will be always maintained and impacts will be communicated in advance of any work.The safety of the public and construction workers remains our highest priority and your patience during construction is appreciated.
