Thousands of Canadians remain in Cuba, and in limbo, as the country continues to battle energy shortages. Air Canada, WestJet, and Air Transat officials have indefinitely suspended all flights to Cuba, with all 3 airlines now organizing a return plan for stranded passengers. Joining the show in Hour 3 is Aylmer resident Steve Chapman, who is among the crowd of stranded travellers waiting for a flight home. And in local news, Ottawa City Council is directing OC Transpo to examine refund options for inconvenienced transit riders. CFRA’s Andrew Pinsent has the latest on that.
The Kamloops institution operated between 1890 and 1969, when Ottawa took control from the Catholic Church and ran it as a day school until it closed in 1978.
