Ottawa Now - Feds issue letters to over 24,000 public servants amid pending workforce changes

Over 24,000 federal public servants have received ‘workforce adjustment’ letters, notifying them that their jobs are at risk due to department-wide budget cuts. It’s being labeled by some as a push to urge employees to leave under their own volition. Brooklyn Holmes, a married mother of 2 young kids, is one of those thousands. In fact, her husband also works in the public service. And when they are both slated to abide by the 4-day workplace model later this Summer, daycare and employment will be top of mind. She joins Kristy Cameron on today’s Ottawa Now.
The municipality said use of the vehicles had been paused because during the winter snow is plowed onto the surfaces that are used for parking the e-scooters and e-bikes.
