Ottawa Now - NYC paying residents hourly rates to shovel bus stops and sidewalks

New York City has started to pay residents $30 per hour to shovel sidewalks and bus stops. The municipality says they’ve been doing this for decades, but the recent pay upgrade has brought a lot of attention to this initiative.
