Artificial Intelligence Minister Evan Solomon says OpenAI's CEO agreed to let Canadian experts into its safety office to help evaluate future threats following the mass shooting in Tumbler Ridge, B.C.

OTTAWA — A new poll shows that three-quarters of Canadians, and most retirees, support scaling back Old Age Security (OAS) for seniors making more than $100,000 per year. The poll, conducted by Research Co. for advocacy group Generation Squeeze, finds that 73 per cent of Canadians support targeting OAS to households with incomes below $100,000. The proposal was supported by 79 per cent of Liberal voters, 77 per cent of Conservative voters and 78 per cent of NDP voters.
