Ottawa Now - Councillor Kavanagh displeased with yet another significant closure on Woodroffe Avenue

An Ottawa city councillor is venting her frustrations over a series of prolonged road closures and construction in her ward. For many years, businesses along Richmond Road have complained about Stage 2 of LRT construction, saying it drives customers away. During this time, the intersection of Woodroffe Avenue and Richmond Road served as a major inconvenience for those who lived there. In December, it finally re-opened. But now, as we approach an 8-month closure on Woodroffe Avenue between Richmond and Deschenes, there is barely any patience left. Bay Ward councillor Theresa Kavanagh joins Kristy Cameron on today’s Ottawa Now.
The only thing the Ottawa Senators are worried about right now is themselves.
