Ottawa Now - What's old is new again, as Ontario plans to revive paper report cards

Last week, Ontario’s Minister of Education admitted that too many people don’t know how to download a digital report card. And that might have been the catalyst for an old-school comeback, as paper report cards will soon be revived from the dead. Paul Calandra recently collaborated with parents and teachers in London, assembling several ideas for a reform of what he considers a ‘fractured’ school system. It’s unclear when the report card changes will take into effect, but it’s unlikely to happen for this school year. Kristy Cameron chats with Colin Matthew, the Vice-President of the Ontario Secondary School Teachers Federation, on Ottawa Now.
