Emergency physicians at St. Boniface Hospital said it's demoralizing to see long wait times at Manitoba's second-largest hospital, and elsewhere in the health-care system, having become increasingly normalized over the years.

Quebec coroner Stéphanie Gamache will lead a public inquiry into the deaths of five unhoused people, which took place over the past seven months in Montreal. The city’s mayor, who was in tears in late March while announcing the deaths of two people experiencing homelessness, says the final report will include recommendations for authorities aimed at preventing such occurrences.
