Calgary Mayor Jeromy Farkas says he's hoping to get the province on board with increased funding for the city's low-income transit pass program.
Starting March 30th, 14th Avenue S.E. is closed for both traffic and pedestrians. The enhancement aims to transform the avenue into a greater public space with four-lane roads.
