Canada restricts drug boat intel from U.S. Navy's Caribbean airstrike operation

HMCS Yellowknife has just ended its deployment in a U.S.-led anti-drug-smuggling mission in the Caribbean, where American airstrikes on suspected drug boats have killed over 150 people. Canadian officials say the Canadian Armed Forces and Canadian Coast Guard aren't involved in those strikes, and will ensure that intelligence about boats they detect and track is provided to the U.S. only on condition it not be shared with naval forces involved in lethal airstrikes in the region.
Robert Mueller, the former FBI director who led a politically explosive investigation into Donald Trump, has died aged 81, triggering a gloating response Saturday from the U.S. president.
U.S. media reported that Mueller died late Friday, citing a family statement, but did not specify a location or cause.
Trump responded quickly on Truth Social, writing: “Robert Mueller just died. Good, I’m glad he’s dead. He can no longer hurt innocent people!”
