Carney says military has not been asked to help in Middle East

Prime Minister Mark Carney says there has been no request for Canadian military assistance in the Middle East. Speaking to reporters in Tokyo, Carney says he doesn't necessarily expect such requests.
Only one in four (23 per cent) Canadians approve while, 16 per cent are unsure either way. Forty-two per cent were found to strongly disapprove.
